Events & Family Calendar
Maple has centralized the family calendar so everyone in your household knows what's going.
Creating Events
Quickly adding events on the Calendar:
The quickest way to add events in Maple is to simply tap on the event calendar to add a new event to the calendar. This will reveal the quick-add screen.
On this screen you can:
- Add a title to the event (emoji optional 🙂)
- Assign it to a specific folder for better organization with color coding
- Add anyone who might need to be made aware. Maple will send them a calendar invite they can accept or decline to their personal calendars.
Adding events within Folders:
Folders are a powerful way to keep things together and work collaboratively with others. We've made it extremely easy to create new events directly within folders as you organize and plan. Folders are color coded, so any event that is assigned to a specific Folder will show up on color coded on the calendar.
To create an event from a folder, you'll want to add the "Event List Tool". Once added you'll be able to create events specific to that folder, in this example a trip that I'm planning to Chicago.
As events get added to the event list you'll notice they also get added to the calendar in the same color that was assigned to the folder.
Important Note: Deleting an event list within a folder WILL DELETE all events within that list. This means they will not still be visible on your calendar.
Editing / Deleting Events:
To edit or delete an event, simply tap on the event on the event's calendar to reveal the edit form.
From here you can make any adjustments you would like and tap "save" when complete or you may tap "delete event" to remove the event all together.
External Calendar Connections
Maple allows Maple Plus members to connect their Google, Apple and Outlook calendar's to Maple to bring even more visibility to what is happening in everyone's lives.
Tap the Settings (as seen above) and follow the steps to get things connected properly.
