If you are in the process of connecting your Google Calendar to Maple and encounter an error, it means there was an issue with the permissions granted to Maple during the connection process.
Steps for fixing this issue:
Step 1: Disconnecting Google Calendar in Maple.
This can be done by navigating to the Google Calendar section under the "Account" menu and tapping "disconnect" in Maple.
This is going to trigger an error message - It's to be expected and you can ignore it.
Step 2: Revoking all access to Maple within Google.
Revoking access to Maple within Google is a crucial step because it will essentially reset the connection.
To do this please navigate to this link: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Verify that you are logged into the correct Google account (the account that you connected to Maple in the past). Tap "Remove Access" next to Maple (as seen below).
Step 3: Head back into Maple's Account Menu and reconnect Google Calendar.
BE SURE to grant all permissions to Maple. You'll notice that 3 of the 5 check boxes are automatically ticked. You will need to tick the final boxes (as seen below). Once done, hit continue and everything should connect smoothly.
